Dear AHA National Homebrewers Conference Registrant,

We have a few messages for you about the up-coming conference:

Additional Tickets for Pro-Brewers Night and Club Night Now Available
We have moved these events into a larger hall and so are able to accommodate
additional attendees. Registration for both events is now available at:
https://guest.cvent.com/EVENTS/Register/IdentityConfirmation.aspx?e=f46759cc
-1a24-4c12-83e0-8f5c888241c5. Prices for both events are $45 for AHA
members, $60 for non-members. Tickets for Pro-Brewers Night and Club Night
are exclusively for those events and do not include access to the
hospitality suite or any of the conference seminars. All other registration
options for the conference have been sold out.

Additional Rooms Available at Oakland Marriott
The Oakland Marriott has made available additional rooms at the conference
rate. Discounted rooms are available for Thursday, June 18 through Saturday
night, June 20. Go to

National Homebrew Competition Judging
Registration for judging and stewarding in the Final Round of the AHA
National Homebrew Competition (NHC) is now open. If you are a BJCP judge or
wish to help with stewarding, please take a moment to register. Judging will
take place on Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 9 AM until 5 PM. All conference
seminars taking place during the judging will be repeated later in the
conference. Breakfast and lunch is provided for judges and stewards working
both sessions. A raffle will be held following the judging.

Please share this message with your local homebrew club or anyone who might
be interested in judging or stewarding in Oakland for the Final Round of the
National Homebrew Competition.

Meet-Up Room at the Conference
This year the AHA has arranged for a special "meetup" room that can be
reserved by groups at the conference. Email Drew Beechum,
drew at maltosefalcons.com, in advance of the conference if you'd like to
arrange for a meeting time. Use it for a club powwow or an internet board
meet-up.

Twitter
The conference has a Twitter feed where you can learn the latest news. Right
now there are some basic announcements going out, but during the conference
itself, there will be continual updates and special announcements. You can
even have Twitter messages sent straight to your phone! Sign up at
http://twitter.com and you can find the conference at:
http://twitter.com/2009AHAConf

See you in Oakland,

Cheers!
