The entry period for the 2009 AHA National Homebrew Competition is underway.
MoreBeer is again the drop-off location for the West region. I am the
organizer for the West region judging. Those of you who haven't signed up
for judging or stewarding should do so at
http://www.brewingcompetition.com/2009NHC1/judge_reg.html

Randy Griggs is the cellarmaster this year and DOZE will again be helping
with the unpacking, check-in, and sorting of the entries. There are three
scheduled work sessions that we think will take care of the cellaring. They
are:

Monday April 6, at 6 PM

Wednesday April 8, 5 PM

Tuesday April 14, 6 PM

All sessions will be at MoreBeer and should last two to three hours
depending on how many volunteers help out. Not everyone needs to be there at
the start time as it usually takes us awhile to get things setup and
running.

Those of you who signed up at the DOZE meeting need not reply but if you are
considering helping at any of the sessions, please email me your name so we
can get you on the list. If for some reason, a session needs to be changed
or cancelled, we will need to let everyone know.

Last year we had a good number of people volunteer and things went well.
We're expecting another record number of entries so we are going to need a
few more volunteers than last year. If you can make it to one of the
sessions, it would be appreciated. And remember, I'll have beer and pizza at
all sessions. Beer never gets old but pizza might, so plan your pizza eating
around these dates.
