Dick,
Thanks for the kind words! I know you miss my boil overs! Actually, I
do the boil overs not only for your enjoyment but to intentionally
remove the scummy stuff that rides on top of the foam before hot
break...I'm just too lazy to use my little strainer screen.....besides,
I want to get the wheel bearings on my stand full of sticky goo....it's
more fun to clean up.
Seriously, I miss you Dozers.
I have to be in San Diego this weekend for my Son's wedding, but I would
like to brew with someone who lives near me....I have extract and all
grain equipment, just not a lot of space to store and time to use it.
Is there anyone out Brentwood way interested in learning from me while
storing/using some of my equipment?
If so, give me a shout at 925-519-0525.
Thanks and Regards,
Mike Sposato

Subject: [DOZE] SATURDAY Big Brew - Call for Brewers
Dozers,
This will be everything you ever wanted to know about brewing. Those who
already know everything can please help me. Please bring any questions
you may have about the process and we will have somebody with an answer.
If we have three people with an answer they will possibly all be
different.
The party starts about 8:30 or 9:00 with set-up and donuts followed by
the main event which will last until about 2 or 3 pm except for Mike
Sposato who is expected to perform the obligatory boil over about that
time. If you can help the cause please feel free to bring your system
(Yes, extract is fine to brew) and your EZ-up because it will be warm in
that parking lot. Ingredients are subsidized by B3 at a discount over
and above the DOZE discount for those who will perform on Saturday. Doze
will supply burgers, dogs and everyone is welcome to bring a side dish
to share.
Please reply if you are able to brew with us. I am looking to borrow an
EZ-up because mine is near Placerville for a neighborhood BBQ. I may
also need some help with set-up and tear-down of my own system because I
re-injured my rotator cuff and can't raise my right arm.
I hope we have a huge turnout for this event. See you Saturday.
Dick Fox
