Now that I have a 1550, I have a ton of extra all-grain equipment
laying around, just waiting for an aspiring brewer to make use of it.
I have...
3 coolers. One is basically for a HLT or storage with a ball valve.
Two have converted into mash tuns. One has a stainless false bottom,
one has a steel braid. All are 10+ gal and have had dozens of batches
run through them. They are both perfect for batch sparging, but if
you're intent on fly sparging (why?) the one with the false bottom is
probably a better choice. One is round, one is square.
1 counterflow chiller - home built, 25 feet of copper tubing,
T-fittings, ball valve, etc. Works great. Has garden hose fittings
and such already installed. Pretty proud of the job I did building
this, turned out very nice :)
1 small immersion chiller (this would be a good one for an extract
brewer, it's one of the smaller ones). I wouldn't recommend this for
someone doing full boils, it's too small. No fittings installed.
1 9-gal brewkettle, stainless steel, with diverter plate welded in.
This is one of the wide shorter ones, not the tall skinny ones. Has
handles.
1 centrifugal wort pump with hi temp polysulphone head. This is the
very same one that B3 sells. Stainless steel ball valve on outlet,
and high temp polysulphone QD's. Got some extra high temp silicon
tubing with matching QD's that I'll throw in with it.
Negotiable on price, not going to gouge felllow DOZE'rs but I would
like a fair price for them. Open to interesting trades. Don't need
much, but I'm always open to trade for clean kegs in good condition,
other interesting non-brewing trades and of course, good ol' cash.
No, I'm not getting out of brewing, believe it or not all this stuff
is *extra*. In fact, I'm mashing out an ESB as I type this email heh.
